Howdy y’all,
So, maybe it’s just me (and believe me, people tell me that all the time), but… has anyone else noticed that grocery store parking lots are full of delivery trucks lately? I’m talking like, a whole convoy of ‘em idling outside at 7AM. But when you go inside? Shelves are still empty. Bread aisle: gone. Eggs: gone. Even the frozen pizzas have vanished!!
Now I’ve worked logistics before (don’t ask), and I know supply chain issues happen. But here’s the thing – those trucks don’t ever seem to unload. They sit there for an hour, then roll out again, still heavy on the suspension. If they were dropping off food, shouldn’t the shelves be stocked? Shouldn’t people be leaving with carts full instead of… nothing?
And that’s not all. Streetlights on my block keep flickering in this weird rhythm. First I thought it was random, but last night I counted – seven blinks, pause, three blinks, pause, then seven again. Over and over. Code? Morse? Some kind of signal? But from what?!
Oh, and get this: my neighbor was out watering his lawn at 10PM. Totally normal, right? Except he just stood there. Hose running full blast, water flooding the driveway, but he didn’t move for like… fifteen minutes. Just staring at nothing. I waved. No response. Finally he twitched his head and walked inside, hose still running!
Look, maybe I’m seeing patterns where there aren’t any. It wouldn’t be the first time, I know… But something feels off. Like the world’s getting ready for something nobody told us about.
Anyway. If you’ve seen anything weird – trucks, lights, people acting strange – drop me a comment. I’m keeping track.
Stay sharp out there!

rusty_nail: Yeah, shelves empty at my store too. But we had some storms last week. Maybe just weather delays?
texas4ever: Pretty sure I saw the same thing in Round Rock. Trucks parked all morning, store still out of milk. Creepy.
These entries are the last surviving fragments of The Lone Star Signal, an obscure blog authored by an individual known only as “RD4Doom.” The authenticity of these writings cannot be verified; yet in the aftermath of the unexplained blackout that swallowed central Texas in the fall of 2025, they remain one of the few records of what transpired. Contemporary reporting has vanished, and the scattered survivors of what is now called The Bloom exhibit shock, memory loss, and fractured recollections. In the absence of other testimony, these posts stand as the clearest—and most unsettling—account of events leading up to the catastrophe.
