Overview	SCARE for a CURE is a volunteer-based non-profit organization in Austin, Texas, that raises money for local cancer charities, "one SCREAM at a time." Each year our creative team produces Austin's only extreme, full contact, interactive haunted house adventure, guaranteed to chill the depths of your soul. Now located in West Austin overlooking Lake Austin and the beautiful Texas Hill Country, SCARE for a CURE continues its reign of terror with BLOOD RITUAL. Are you ready?

Partners	Sponsors for 2009 to date include Richard Garriott, Motorblade Postering Service, Joey Marciel, and Alamo Drafthouse Cinema. Our 2009 charity partner is Breast Cancer Resource Centers of Texas (BCRC), which will receive all net proceeds from the ticket and merchandise sales.
Volunteers	SCARE for a CURE's haunted house is planned, built, and performed entirely by volunteers. Over 200 volunteers logged approximately 8,000 volunteer hours for our 2008 haunted house. Our 2008 crew included teams from Sony Online Entertainment, Office Max, Americorp, and students from Austin Sunshine Camps and Texas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired/Criss Cole Rehabilitation Center.
